For fashion label Erdos 1436’s Autumn/Winter campaign, they asked me to come up with a concept that would highlight the idea of nature and natural organisms in an abstract way, without resorting to a location shoot (we were shooting in the middle of a snowstorm, so it wasn’t feasible to shoot outdoors). The idea I came up with was to use large pieces of fabric as a backdrop - gentle, undulating shapes that were based off of natural forms such as wind and waves. I worked with photographer Sebastian Kim and set designer Philip Hammerle to achieve this vision, and directed the models to convey this same energy - lots of motion such as walking, jumping - to further reinforce this idea of organic movement.
